Do I need to know accounting?
No. Record what happened in ordinary business language. Klin Books keeps the accounting detail underneath and asks only when an important fact is missing.
Do I need a POS system?
No. Klin Books works with cash, M-Pesa, bank records, receipts, invoices and other business records. If you already use a POS, keep using it alongside Klin Books.
Can I upload M-Pesa or bank statements?
Yes. Statements go through the real processing and reconciliation workflow. Progress and review state come from the actual job, not a simulated timer.
Can my accountant or bookkeeper use it?
Yes, when you grant access. Permissions are scoped to each business and capability.
What happens when Klin Books is not sure?
It does not invent important accounting or tax facts. It keeps what is safely known and asks for missing information when needed.
Is eTIMS already connected?
A configured intake or future integration contract is not the same as a live KRA connection. Connected or submitted status is shown only when there is real evidence.
